What is this white substance that comes out with my feces? - feces white mucus

For months I had a colored substance that comes with my chair. It seems that in the dense texture and something like the sticky mucus is, if you have a cold. There is no pain associated with the substance, but I wonder what it is.

  1. It is probably mucus. You should see a doctor. It may be a sign of a variety of diseases, chronic inflammatory bowel disease after another.

  2. It phlegm. Nobody knows how it happens or why some people were, however, are strongly associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). In general, the patients of IBS and diarrhea or constipation, bloating and abdominal pain are suffering relieved by defecation. A classic symptom of IBS is a bowel movement with mucus. IBS is caused by several factors such as stress, lifestyle, environment, genetics and gender. IBS is a serious disease and does not cause cancer or something like that. If you are in great pain, I suggest you go to the doctor.

If you do not think you have IBS, there is no reason to be concerned by the mucus in the stool. Some people do, some do not.
